Macy’s holiday part time sunglasses sales associate?

Hi, has anyone worked at macy's during the holidays as a sunglasses sales associate? Today, I got a job doing this. Is it fast? What products does the department cover? And what all do I have to do? Also, will I get paid during the "welcome to macy's" training and during the cashier training? Oh, and when does the pay period began and end?

I worked in Macy’s catalog center for the holidays, and yes it’s illegal not to pay for training, and Macy’s seem to follow all the laws. I don’t remember what the pay period was.
I worked for Filenes one holiday season. Its the same thing as Macys. They will pay you for training. I worked in the Mens Department, and I had one day of training with all the other new seasonal employees, and then the next day I was on the floor.
